(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
No I have had them in the past. I got my own for the first time 6 years ago.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 10 right now plus my injured bird I found on the side of the interstate.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Hy-Line Brown
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love my chickens. My favorite thing about them is how they learn to trust you like a human and become your best friend.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I am a homemaker. So I stay home with our kiddos plus take care of the home and animals!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Well, It I'd myself my husband and our three girls. We have a red heeler named Sassy, 5 rabbits named Oreo princess reces flower and rosie. Then my 11 chickens.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I was looking up info about the hurt chi ken (Hope, we named her). During my search I came across this site and I registered because I couldn't ask questions without registering.
