Hello everyone,
Thanks for all of the information on the site. I have spend a lot of time reading up on everything and figured it was time to make it official.
I am entirely new to chickens. I purchased 6 chicks back in april and I am moving through the process of raising them.
I purchased 2 white leghorns, 2 silver laced wyandottes, and 2 Rhode Island Reds.
We live in UT and have them at my in-laws property in Mapleton, UT. Right now I have them in a 300 sq foot pen. There was an existing coop on the property that I am utilizing and slowly remodeling to be a little more accommodating. I still have no clue if they are all hens or roosters or what, I suppose only time will tell. They are all about 16-17 weeks old and I haven't seen any eggs as of yet.
Figured I would introduce myself, I am sure I will be around. Thanks again. Here is a couple pictures of the flock this morning.
