Hi,
Golfer here from Wisconsin. Been a lurker for some time. I'm new to chickens. I have some Buff Orpingtons, New Hampshires, Golden Laced Wyondottes, and Blue Orpingtons. They are all 13 weeks old. Looking forward to some eggs in the near future.
Above is a picture of my Rooster. He's a New Hampshire, and his name is Clark. I was supposed to get all pullets.

I posted pictures of my coop in the coop thread too.

Glad you could join the flock! What a lovely bird you have there in Clark! You also have a very nice dog there in your avatar, how cute. Many of us were lurkers before joining up. I was one and so wish I had done it sooner. Waiting for those first eggs sure can seem to take an age. But when you find those little treasures on the nest box it really is fantastic.

OH a puppy. I am a dog lover since birth, and used to show Cockers many years ago. I see a dog and all other thoughts leave my mind. What a doll, I would love to know more about the breed. So many new breeds since then. Oh before I forget Welcome to Backyard chickens.
