Hello all,
We live in southwest Wisconsin and started our small neighborhood flock in July.
We have four Bantam hens, a Black Silkie (Shiloh), an Easter Egger (Daisy), a Green Queen (Dallas), and a Belgium d'uccle (Boots). Daisy just started laying eggs last week and the others should be starting soon, although the temps here lately have been very cold and may slow things down a bit.
Our daughter, Ruby, is also actively involved with 4-H and loves to care for and competitively show goats.
My goal is to learn as much as I can about raising chickens, and share info with my daughter and wife, Stacey. I will also share my knowledge with the BYC members as applicable.
We learned of BYC on social media and really appreciate becoming part of the BYC group!
