I was thinking about Golden Layers or Welsh Harlequins. Are your Welsh Harlequins good with your other duck breeds? We'll eventually have turkeys as well as chickens, but we'll also have the ability to keep everyone separated as needed.

I live in an area where it gets pretty hot in July and August (high 90s), so I want to make sure I get bird breeds that can tolerate that as well. Thanks so much!

Currently our welsh harlequin is still only a little under 3 weeks old, so we don't know how she'll be when she's older.

Right now, though, she's our sweetest duck! She jumps up to sit on my leg when I come over to their brooder and was the first to eat out of my hand. Unfortunately that also comes with her screaming for me if I leave..

Where I live we just had a heatwave getting to around mid 90s and all my ducklings and our mallard (the 1 adult) handled it really well! We just kept giving them cool water and snacks and made sure everyone was able to swim and had shade.
