Hi all, I am a new chicken mamma. We currently have 4 black star chicks that are 1 week old. I am waiting for some Buff Orpington and Barred Rock chicks in the coming weeks. I wanted to get them all at the same time but it just hasn’t worked out!! Very new but learning everyday!

Congrats on your new chicks! 2 maybe 3 weeks apart and you can usually still mix them together. Any older and you will have to brood them separately. If you have any questions about them along the way, be sure to ask. Welcome aboard!
