New Member- Hello all!

Hi. We are a small family with animal husbandry backgrounds. We've owned many different types of animals in addition to chickens for years and years. Now, we are looking to start a new flock as our town recently allowed chickens within the city limits. We are looking to hatch out some eggs of some unique birds as a conversation piece, family pet and of course egg source. I LOVE genetics, learning new things and looking for ideas for a new chicken house.

If you want unique, put "Showgirl" thread in the search box. Appenzeller Spitzhauban are also unique - I don't know how hard they would be to locate. You might even put "Exotic chickens breeds," in the search box and see what comes up.
