Sometimes food is present but he still makes these peeping noises. What should I do then?
It just probably wants attention as mine do that a lot. These ones I have are now 9 weeks old and live in a temp coop outside. They hear me coming and start that same peeping.

By the way, I just noticed that he keeps swallowing something. Then I checked her beak and I see her tongue is swollen.. The underneath part swollen in black. What should I do?

I am sorry but I have no idea. I would post that in our Emergency Forum to see if someone knows.

Welcome. How is he doing?
The sick one has become more active now thankfully. I don't know but I think he is okay now. But about the one who makes a peeping noise, I don't know. I got his tongue swollen sore part removed but he still makes the peeping noise. Debbie said it's due to him seeing me or something. But he also makes this sound when I am not in the viewing area and even while he is eating and looking at the feed bowl.
