Hi, my name is Donna and I live in rural Kansas with my husband, 3 cats, 1 dog, 4 Brahma hens, 12 Banty cochins, and 3 obnoxious and loud guinea. I totally LOVE my bantys, the Brahma not so much. We have 2 separate pens. One is the first original coop and run my husband built and the other building I call "the Chicken Mansion". It has 3 huge pens and runs. In the original coop I keep the bantys. It has 2 layers of wire on outside run and is safer for the Banty babies. I let my Banty hens hatch other stuff frequently. They hatched the 2 Brahma that are grown but still in that pen. Eventually I'll move the 2 Brahma out and into the Chicken mansion. Once the guinea are gone I want to raise a few turkeys.
