Welcome. The Ozarks are so stunning and a lot of people do not know how great of a place it is to raise chickens. I wish you well. People here are friendly and helpful.
Yes in the fall it’s beautiful here in the Foothills and raising chickens here is great with all variety of vegetation in the spring and summer months.

Hi everyone I’m new here from the Ozark Foothills of Missouri. I’ve stumbled on this forum several times by accident so I thought I would just join. I’ve been around Farm life since I was in my teenage years after I got married in 1997 (still married) I decided to turn our place (10 Acres) into a small farm nowadays people would call our place a Hobby Farm. I’ve raised lots of livestock (Jersey Cows, Goats, Hogs, Rabbits, Turkeys, Ducks and Chickens) for over 27 years especially Chickens from incubating Eggs to buying them through the Mail. I’m semi retired now from Driving Tractor Trailers for over 33 years. I drive a small dump truck local in the spring and summer and I work for MFA Ag service in Fall and Winter months. I hope to get to know all of you soon. Thanks for having Lee.
Welcome to BYC!!
