Welcome here this is great place to get help if you're a newbie or a novice like you. Nice mix in your flock. Which is your fav. breed?

I've always had rhode island reds, but ever since I got my golden commits I've fallen in love with them. They are more docile than the reds and lay much larger eggs.

Welcome to BYC! Your flock sounds awesome, I've never heard of midnight marans. I'm sure we'd all love to see some pictures of your birds!

I hadn't either. I found them at tractor supply last year I think. Maybe the year before. They lay dark brown eggs.
