Hello all!
just wanted to introduce my self since I have been reading and learning this forum for a few months now. My wife and I just recently got interested in chickens. I am currently finishing up the coop with 4 Silkies, 2 Barred Rocks, and 2 Speckled Sussex eagerly awaiting there new home. My wife wanted the Silkies since she is a childrens photographer and I wanted some laying hens with sweet dispositions. We dont live on a farm(wish we did) so this new adventure is taking place in our backyard. Thanks to all who manage and contribute to this great forum and its wealth of information!
