New Member. Hi!

When I used to breed & show Cockers, had one new born puppy that could only lay on her side and not roll over. Couldn't even nurse. I was sure she would die any minute. I put her in a shoe box next to a heating vent in the bathroom. Checking her often I noticed she had started nuzzling her little washcloth blanket looking for food. I tube fed her and she just did a complete turn around.

BTW I later realized why she looked so frail. The first puppy born was a BIG male and apparently took so long working his way out (of mama), she was compromised. I felt she needed a frivelous name to cheer both of us up. Named her Trixie.

She ended up beating a top winning male and placing second in sporting group in her first dog show.
