QUOTE="mellinda, post: 21640368, member: 433140"]It's from Koen, we are worried. No worms spotted but now Koen is acting odd and lethargic... Is it just dehydratarion? Or is it infection because she pecked Biekes old wound and carried the dead tissue long in her beaq :/[/QUOTE]

This was originally posted in a different thread & things seem to have changed from the original issue. I am posting the info here in hopes that someone more experienced than myself can help. Sounds like sour crop or impacted crop to me but since most of the followers of the original thread may have dropped off for a bit, can someone else offer some help?

(I've never posted an original issue from scratch, so I hope I'm doing this right... Going to go back to the original thread & get the rest of the info about this new chicken's issue (named Koen).

Am terrified since the second poo contained also air bubbles slimy cream like it was with salmonella like my beloved passed away Fien had...
Perhaps it's from pecking Biekes wound.
She is quite thirsty but also very lethargic.
She didnt change her feathers for 3y in a row and it looks like she still doesnt.
She also did almost never interrupt laying eggs till 2 days ago.
Only thing i can thinking of she might have been eating is prumes...

Thx alot for your help everyone. And ty Barredrockmom for moving this one to the right toppic.

Applied the crop massage several times, it's already 5 times smaller and alot softer, she's acting more lively again. Also the link to crop toppic you guys posted was very helpful. Ty.

Made sure she drank enough. Gave her her last tablet Flagryl i had from the vet back when Fien passed, just to be safe.

Already several phone calls since parents away because dad's worried sick.
Monday i might take her to the vet in case she gets backwards but this eve she was back at chasing flies.
Her comb and crest were also redder.

Can prumes actually worsen it? Our ladies are eating them up after a wind strike.

I think she's dying, super heated… eyes closed, does not move anymore... the stool was better but i think she won't make it 'till the next morning… swollen head… i really don't understand… this morning and yesterday she was happily catching flies… can i put her into a bath to cool down?

You can try that , sure. Don't use cold water, as you don't want to shock her system. I'd use warm water.

I know that you are trying & I hope she pulls thru. But sometimes they don't. Just do what you can to keep her comfortable.
