Welcome from Waco! I had chickens in my tiny Phoenix backyard before buying 5 acres here, and it was alright. Just make sure you don't have any roosters and give the neighbors lots of free eggs! Best of luck with your permit.

Congratulations! Good luck with your new chickens. I used to be able to keep chickens in Arlington, Texas but no roosters were allowed. I've moved out to the country now and can have anything I want.
