Welcome Chicago! Ha..go to your state thread, check them out. Bet there are a few there that have chickens and love them too. You sound like an animal lover too. I have a large dog, two small dogs, and my chicken. I've even had a rat. Never, did I think I would own a rat! But, they make excellent pets! Sweet Pea was her name. :)

Twenty some years ago, I knew a woman who had at least a dozen pet rats. She trained them to do tricks like bowling with a toy set and answering a toy phone. She would dress them in little vests and bring them to bars to do rat shows.
