(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Brand new to chicken keeping, got our first chickens July 22nd 2020
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 5
(3) What breeds do you have? (1) Barred rock, (1) golden laced Wyandotte, (1) buff Orpington, and (2) ISA Browns
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Everything’s still new but currently my favorite thing is to just sit and watch them....so peaceful and entertaining for whatever reason
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I like doing DIY projects, probably why I liked the idea of backyard chickens as well. Designing and building the coop was fun. I’ve also built a chicken tractor so I can let the girls out and we can enjoy being inside with them.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Married with 2 beautiful daughters. My oldest loves playing with the chickens. We have three dogs. I’m a pathologist assistant in Birmingham, AL.
