Very nice to meet you. I figured out Kathy's user name right away just didn't know what a "sport" pony was. Kathy is a very important person on BYC - she is called upon often for her great advice re: medications etc.

It is great to have that kind of experience/knowledge so generously shared.

I have not officially thought of what the definition of sport pony is but in my mind it was the ponies who are athletic and bred to do athletic things versus just for what they looked like e.g. showing in halter classes without having to prove their conformation could actually do something athletic.
