New member in NC

I live in Deep Run, NC with my wife and two boys. My chickens are all gold laced wyandottes. They are almost 1 year old and laying really well. I now have 10 hens and 1 rooster. I had a neighborhood dog attack my flock last week and I lost 2 hens. I have one hen still recovering. It was an upsetting experience to say the least.

We have a small flock of 4 Silver Laced Wyandotte Hens.

I like the silver laced. I think I am about to get 3 or 4 to supplement my flock of gold laced.
