Hi fellow chicken lovers!
I just wanted to introduce myself briefly - I'm Jamie, and I just picked up 3 beautiful Silkie Bantam chicks yesterday! They're all about a week or so old, and total lovebugs. I'm BRAND NEW to having chickens, but my husband and I thought it would be fun to raise some chicks, and *hopefully* have some hens to lay us some eggs! Obviously, it's too early to tell their gender at this age, so we will just have fun with them while they're babies!
The Silkie chicks' colors are:
- Blue Partridge (I'm 95% sure - Pictured in my Profile Photo)
- Blue
- Splash
I had no idea how interactive chicks were until we brought our babies home yesterday. I literally spent all day outside admiring them, and taking loads of photos (which I'll end up posting on here without a doubt)!
Anyway, that's about it!
