I think you need a livestock guardian dog,. some guineas as an alarm system, and Emu's to run off four legged threats. There is a very popular Aussie thread on here "Australia- six states and one funny little Island," maybe you will find out if others are being robbed etc., and how they handled the situation. Did you report the incident to the police? Wish you continued success this third time around.
I have a pug, though I don't know what he'd do except bark obnoxiously at them and flop over for a belly rub. I have neither the fences nor space for a dog much larger. I don't have the fence for emus either - nor a license to keep one - and would not be granted one with the space that I have available.

Honestly I didn't report the incident to the police. I suppose that I assumed that there was nothing that could be done about it. :/ If it ever happens again I will be sure to, definitely.

So far my little flock is doing much better (except for our small cat who thinks they're fun to annoy). I'm so paranoid from previous experiences that I go out once an hour or so to helicopter parent my chickens and make sure that they're all fine. I'm sure I'll calm down soon - though I may have to keep my cats inside if the bothering of the chickens continues.
