:welcome

I hope you find the CLB's you're looking for, they are pretty birds and their eggs are beautiful. Those are on my 'wish list' of chickens to some day add to my flock (along with many others, lol).

Thanks for joining us!

I actually just tried hatching a clutch of 13 that I ordered from Omega Hills Farm and got through the mail. The box came a little beat up, only 4 were viable, and only 2 made it to hatch. Of course they were both cockerels! Lol! So, I am on the hunt again, but was hoping to find some close to home so I can pick them up. That last batch was very disappointing :(

I've heard shipped eggs can be a gamble but some sellers are probably better at wrapping & protecting them than others. Someone has CLB eggs for sale now in the buy-sell-trade forum. Get your post count up a bit more and you can maybe get in on some of those.

Wherever you end up finding some, I wish you good luck with them!

Thank you! I actually got lucky and found some 20 minutes away from me! 14 beautiful blue eggs put to bed!

There's a lady in Del Mar who breeds Cream Legbars and Silver Seabrites sometimes, she lists them on Craigslist when they're available which is usually in March or April. Keep checking Craigslist. Hope this helps!

It absolutely does! I found some in Bonsall and got 14, but I'm hoping for different lines. So, thank You, very much! I'll keep a look out for that ad!

Hi all! I am a pretty new chicken keeper in San Diego, and this site is AWESOME!! Does anyone know of anyone else somewhere around San Diego that is selling Cream Legbar hatching eggs? Thank you so much!

Urban Mama Hen on this board has CLB hatching eggs. She's in the Clairmont area in San Diego. Out of my dozen 10 hatched.
