New Member in the PNW... 45 min. south of Olympia...

Hi All!

Hey.... it is GREAT to find this site! I'm SO excited to get started on building my first Chicken Tractor!

I live in a small town named Toledo (Washington State) on the Cowlitz River... and have a little bit of extra land to do this on. I have LOTS of water (with possible Micro-Hydro!)... and fish... and thought I'd help my wife and myself endure things in case the SHTF.

If anyone lives near me and wants some help doing Chicken Stuff... let me know and I'd be glad to help and learn while doing so.

I retired Dec. 2018 after 37 years as a professional Firefighter/Paramedic in a Department in the Puget Sound area of the PNW... the Tacoma area. I love to fly-fish, hike, sail... and help others.

Live is good... I am healthy, my wife loves me... 4 great kids and 6 fantastic grand-kids.... and I am a Christian apologetically by the Grace of God Alone.

Three Bernese Mountain Dogs, no wonder you sit on the floor. Their combined weight would surely flatten the couch.

A neighbor had one- still a puppy and he was quite a "leaner." Would never jump up on anyone but, he would sit close to people and lean backwards. I loved that dog!! If I wasn't a very bantam size human, I would have gotten one myself.
