(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes! I'm pretty new to chickens. I've jad my chicks since the end of March.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I currently have 2 RIRs (gender unknown), 3 buff orpington pullets, & 3 silkies (also unknown genders), so 8 in all.
(3) What breeds do you have?
See above question
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Many Google searches since becoming a chicken parent have brought me to BYC!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I like to read, spend time with my children, hang around in my favorite spot in my yard, & journaling.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I am a lab techician, 32 years old, married to my first love from 18 years ago, 4 children, & I have my bachelor's degree in psychology. I have one dog & one cat!
I figured I would just use the given questions since that seemed less complicated than trying to think of things to tell about myself. I look forward to learning a lot of new information from other chicken owners!
