New Member Intro from Florida

Thanks to all for the warm welcomes and helping identify my first rooster. Need to join that facebook group to relocate roosters but I was waiting til I had my first 5 AM wake up call. Then after a few mornings when my neighbor asks about Starlord I will tell him if he stops cutting his lawn at 7AM on Sunday I will get rid of the rooster. :D

So far Starlord has been silent. I mean not as much as a peep. I will keep us posted but I am sure at this point it will be a he. Let's see how mom does when the time comes to separate or if he stays quiet maybe I can keep him?

I've never met a quiet rooster. Once a cockerel starts crowing, they usually feel the need to practice all day long.
Good luck with chicken mom. You should probably call your real estate agent and start shopping for a farm.
