In the Brooder
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes, very new. My husband grew up with chickens on a ranch in California and has been trying to convince me for years to get a few. I finally "caved" and am so excited about it I wish I had sooner!!!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 3 (about 3 weeks old)
(3) What breeds do you have? Barred Rock, Buff Orpington and a White Leghorn
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? google!?!?
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Running (training for a half marathon), gardening, spending time at the beach
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I worked in the veterinary field for YEARS but recently changed to the legal field (big switch)
We have 3 dogs (a pomeranian, golden retriever and pit bull) a cat and a lizard.
I look forward to learning more on backyard chickens and hopefully getting to know many of you as well.
