A little bit about me

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I am brand new to chickens. I got my first chickens 2 months ago.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

I have 3 chickens and 2 chicks

(3) What breeds do you have?

I have 3 pekin bantams (black mottled, silver partridge and gold partridge) and 2 silkie chicks

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?

Google!

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

Photography

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

Married, no kids, 2 cats, 2 chihuahuas, 1 chinchilla, 1 goldfish, 3 chooks, 2 chicks :)

New to chickens, new to forums, will probably ask lots of silly questions...

Of course! Happy to show them off :)

The black mottled is called Gen (General Tso - she's the boss!), silver partridge is Tilly (Atila the Hen) and tiny litttle golden partridge is called Nugget.

There's a photo of their home too, and their new 'chicken wing' extension where they can explore with their chicks and have more space to play on a rainy day (there are lots of those in England!). Otherwise they have the full run of the garden and love eating my plants

Tilly loves coming inside and hanging out with the cats and dogs
