(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I still consider myself a newbie. I've had chickens for about 18 months now. I just now joined BYC but I've found it to be a great resource anytime I had a question.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
13

(3) What breeds do you have?
Wyandotte (gold and silver laced), Chantecler, Easter Eggers, Lavender Orpington, Welsummer, Cuckoo Marans and a mystery chicken that was supposed to be a Salmon Faverolle but looks nothing like one.

Edited to add: The consensus is that she is a Cream Brabanter.

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
The great and powerful Google

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
reading, gardening, gaming

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share
I work from home and my husband is a stay at home parent to our nearly 4 yo son. We have a 1 acre property that we are turning into a mini-farm/homestead.

For unknowns, please post photos and ages at "what breed or gender is this." Your husband might think "Showgirls," are wonky looking enough for him, or Apenhauser Spitzhauben. Welcome to BYC.

Thanks! That's the reason I formally joined. :) I wanted some help identifying my mystery chicken. She has now been identified as a Cream Brabanter. :)
