Thumb of Michigan
I'm from Sanilac County in Michigan and I currently have 8 Black sex links and 8 Rhode Island Red, one being a rooster. In about a week I'll have another 31 chicks, Cinammon Queens. We raise chickens for eggs to sell at our farm stand and the local farmers market. My fiance also has another 15 young chickens, Barred Rock pullets, plus an Americana hen and two Americana bantam hens. Thanks for the add!

It sounds like you have a nice flock and good egg selling business!

We do. It's taken us two years to get this far. I've been growing produce for over five. Eggs started as a small supplement but have really taken off this year. I used to despise chickens, that sounds really bad, but my girlfriend now fiance loved them. I now have a soft spot for them too haha. She can't have more than 15 or 16 in her yard currently so I expanded the operation this spring. By the time our runs and coops are complete in a couple weeks we could spaciaoisly house up to 70 chickens on my farm. Sorry for the book!

Do not worry about long posts here!

As opposed to many of my friends and family in real life, my chicken friends can talk chicken all day long!
