Hi, my name is Missie and I live in NW Georgia. I used to belong to a group called Scott's Backyard Chickens and 1 day, they just disappeared so I started looking for a new group and found BYC. I have kept chickens for about 10 years now and have had as many as 15 and as few as 3 at any given time. Aside from the obvious fresh egg reason to keep chickens I like them because they're sweet little things that take minimal care once set up. I love looking at photos of peoples coops and runs as well as talking about feeders and doors and chicken security.
