(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We are new to chickens!! We first got our chickens 3 days ago!!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We purchased 10 Chickens!!
(3) What breeds do you have?
We have 6 Polish and 4 Bard Rocks!
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I have 2 daughters (5 and 7). I love watching them interact and learn responsibility. Of course we are excited about eggs when the time comes!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Fishing, reading, riding bikes with my girls!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My wife and I have two little girls (5 and 7). We have a miniature golden doodle named Bodhi. I am a High School Teacher and my wife runs a few businesses and is our Mayor.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Just found it while I was researching for our chicks.
