New member intro

Hi! My name is Becca and live in the froven solid state of WI, where we are at -2°F without windchill and with a low tonight of -15°F without windchill. I finally decided to join BYC. I have known and referenced BYC many times since getting my little flock 2 1/2 years ago. My little flock is made up of 6 chickens and 1 turkey. We have 2 Ameraucana hens (Starfire & Dobbs), 2 Leghorn hens (Red & Rider), 1 Rhode Island Red hen (Wynonna), 1 White Crested Polish hen (Einstein) and our common Turkey hen (Jack). I don't think I could pick one aspect of raising backyard chickens as my favorite. My hobbies include; woodworking, crafts, dog training, beading and spending time with my 2 grandkids (Lilli - 11 & Chase - 8). I have been married to my husband for 30 years and we have 2 amazing adult daughters, Autumn (Lilli & Chase's mom) and Brie. We have 1 cat Boo(15 yrs old) and 2 rescue dogs, Diesel a 4 1/2 lb Chihuahua(10 yrs old) that if it was up to him he would be living with our granddaughter Lilli. And my baby Hope a Pit Bull in 3 days will be 12 yrs old, she has beaten all odds and meets you at the door with a wagging tail and a smile. I work for an online company from home, I'm always home if someone needs something .
