(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am brand new to chickens and chicken-keeping while my partner has had chickens before. We got our first flock of 20 chickens 6 weeks ago!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We currently have 22 chickens but the real count will be 20 due to the removal of 2 cockerels.
(3) What breeds do you have?
We have 2 Blue Rock's, 2 Buckeye's, 11 Barred Rock's, 2 golden comet's, and 5 RIR's
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Not sure yet, but they seem cute!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Love doing photography and gardening!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My partner and I have 3 Indoor/Outdoor Cats and 2 outdoor dogs. We're super excited to get into the community and learn as much as we can.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
