(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I have had chickens about 7 years
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I have 3
(3) What breeds do you have? Right now... Australorp, Polish and Americana. Ive had a barred rock, copper maran and cinnamon queen in the past.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Brings life to the garden! Plus can give them cuttings and get good compost!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Gardening, we love camping and traveling. Being out in the boat, fishing, etc.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I am married, we have a dog, cats, some fish and of coarse chickens... I am a dental hygienist and I work for a large dental distributing company.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? Googled when I am searching for chicken problems and solutions. So much great information on here. I appreciate being part of it!
