Hey everyone! I'm a newbie, posting my intro. I currently live in central Alabama. I have only had chickens for a year and currently have about 80. I'm married and have 4 kids, 2 in college, 2 still at home. We are a homesteading family and am loving the addition of chickens to the family. We have many breeds ( I like variety) - Black Australorp, Silkies, Easter Egger, Speckled Sussex, Barred Rock, Marans, and some barnyard mix we hatched. I like to can, sew, knit, birdwatch and run a Youtube channel as well, Second Wind Homestead.

Welcome here west wind . What an adventure your on. Do you have a favorite breed? I like variety too .
