Hello, all. My wife and I got five chicks about a year and a half ago. We currently have 5 Golden Comets laying, and last month we got 3 Easter Egger and 2 Dominique chicks, We live on a four acre plot in South Carolina, where we garden, and do pottery and woodworking and blacksmithing. Of course we also clear brush, fight back the wild blackberries, try to exterminate the Paulownia, etc. In future we want goats (briar-patch and dairy), also quail or rabbits. But one step at a time!
I guess I should add that my name’s Jim. I’m originally from Arkansas, am retired from the Army and now work in Cyber Security.
