Hello all! I just joined this site but have been visiting for many years. I have been raising chickens for about 10 years, ducks for around 8. Last year I added turkeys to the mix. The turkeys seem to be harder. Last year went fine but this year one of my hens got real broody. To reward her hard work I bought 10 fertile eggs. I gave 5 to her and incubated the other 5 myself. None of hers hatched, 2 of my 5 developed but only 1 hatched successfully. Unfortunately, after 3 days in the broader I lost that one too. My first experience with turkeys is a bust, do I try again?

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
I don't own turkeys and I've never attempted to incubate anything with an incubator. But are the incubation parameters slightly different for turkey eggs versus duck or chicken eggs?

The main difference is the humidity and that is crucial for turkeys
