Hi, thanks for joining us! Is a Grandpa's feeder another name for a treadle feeder? If so, this is an article another member wrote on how they built one: building-a-treadle-chicken-feeder.47900 If that's not what you were looking at, check out the Articles tab for other feeder plans: feeders-waterers.26
I just read the article. Thank you so much for sending!

Oh what a cool story! I'm so glad you made the move from the hectic pace to the peaceful pace of country living. I'm glad you got your hens last year cause it's crazy trying to get any this year!.(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We started getting chickens in March 2022. We moved from the city to a 40 acre horse farm. Our only regret is that we didn't do it sooner.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have 22.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I don't know, I'll have to ask my wife, LOL
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Two of my favorite aspects are to be more self sufficient and to know exactly where my eggs are coming from.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Traveling, motorcycles, gunsmithing, raising animals.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm a registered nurse working in the ICU and hobbyist tradesman.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I literally just found this forum today while searching for reviews on Grandpa's chicken feeders.
