Hey all!
I'm happy to have finally joined this community. I have had a small flock for a number of years but my flock recently contracted infectious laryngotracheitis. Needless to say it's been a difficult year and I'm going to be starting all over from scratch. I'm looking forward to learning from you all and about all the different breeds!

Welcome. Did you treat them?

After talking with my vet and the state, I decided to cull. They would have been carriers for life and I would no longer be able to breed/ hatch.

Hello, and welcome to BYC. Any idea as to how your flock became infected?

I added a new layer to my flock last fall. Quarentined her for 2 weeks and everything but she is most likely the culprit as she was the only addition. I'm not 100% certain though.
