(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Kinda, I was raised around them growing up in Hawaii. Disclaimer Game chickens were a part of the culture and daily life, however, I have no interest in the practice. Still beautiful birds that I admire though.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I am raising 31 chicks right now, hopefully most are hens!
(3) What breeds do you have?
Lavendar Orpington, Lavendar Amerucanas, Black Marans, New Hampshires, 1 surviving Barred Rock, and some EEs
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Self sufficiency and teaching my kids
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening/Homesteading

Family of 6, 3 bulldogs, 2 cats, I'm a software engineer
