Hello, my name is Jamie and I live in the Denver area with my wife. We have had chickens for about a year and a half, 8 hens right now: 2 redstars, 2 blackstars, 1 Rhode Island Red, 1 Speckled Sussex, 1 araucana and 1 Brahma. I also have two dogs and a plethora of bunnies who I don't intentionally feed, but who nevertheless have taken up habitation in our backyard and help themselves to our garden. We have a large free-range backyard for our chickens, but also a fully encased chicken run around the coop for when we are away. We are avid gardeners and got chickens to help with the soil, but have grown to love them as part of our pet family. Looking forward to being part of this online community.
