I'm glad to be here! I found this site when looking for help for my chick with RSS (runting stunting syndrome). Being new to having backyard chickens, I've since found BYC invaluable for answering all my newbie questions!!
My RSS chick is a Black Australorp born May 1st. She's holding her own, and now has a friend, another Black Australorp several weeks younger, that has been a true "mother hen" to her! We've decided to keep them separate from the rest of the flock, so we're building a smaller coop and run just for the two little Austalorps.
It's wonderful to have such a great site with so much experience in one place!
If you'd like more info on my RSS chick (Baby Girl), check my posting in the "emergency" forum!
