I am 50yrs old,and have love for animals,am leaving in Tanzania

I have decided to start Duck farming,would like to have pecking Melard type of ducks.

Would like to know how to get them from there to Tanzania.

I have started to prepare the area to keep them

Habari, na karibu sana to BYC - great that you have joined us. A while ago, another member from Tz was also trying to find certain duck breeds for sale. I would imagine that they are here in Kenya (quality of them, in terms of being true to the actual breeds, are a different matter) so if you would be prepared to have them shipped through Namanga, that may be a possibility.

I'd say your best bet would be to place a "wanted" advert somewhere on your local online advertising sites and if no joy, contact your Department of Agriculture and find out the regulations for importing poultry and hatching eggs. It's quite a process! I hope you'll find what you're looking for.
