(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am fairly new at keeping chickens, I just got my first chicks last summer.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I currently have 7 adult chickens and 4 chicks. I am currently trying to add 4 more to my flock.

(3) What breeds do you have?
I have a blue red laced Wyandotte Rooster, and my hens are Buff Orpington, Austra White, Red Star, RIR, NHR, and an Olive Egger. My chicks are Delaware/rir cross, a White Crested Black Polish, and a Blue Ameraucana.


(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I do a lot of searches online and you guys always have the best answers.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
My other hobbies include skateboarding and hanging out at the beach.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am a stay at home mommy to a rad 3 1/2 year old and my hubby works a 9-5 and is also a tattooist. I have a chihuahua, a Staffordshire terrier, two black cats, several fish. I am currently trying to get in to homesteading and will be planting my first vegetable garden soon *fingers crossed*

It sounds like you have a very nice place. I have some seedling sprouting for a garden this year
