Hi, I'm Tamara
I've known about BYC for about a year but recently decided to join because I have never had egg layers before and I have some questions. When I was younger we raised Cornish Cross chickens so I do have some experience raising chickens.
I currently have 7 Dark Brahmas who will be a year old in 5 days. They are quite entertaining to watch and they are very curious. They have taken to following my husband or I around the yard when we are out there.
In addition to the chickens we also have a Dutch Shepherd named Lenore, and three cats Roman, Spooky and Squee.
