Hello,
I made one out of a cardboard box. For the time being I have the egg in a padded small container with a thermometer registering between 98 and 100 F from an overhead lamp.
The incubator has a window, thermometer, heating pad, small water container (to help with humidity). and a light protected with chicken wire. The base has rice hull and i am awaiting a small nest which I will line with some tulle spinning fiber to make it soft. My plan is when the egg starts to hatch I'll transfer it ti the homemade incubator.
