Hello! My name is Laurie and fairly new to chickens. We got our first set of hens last summer and recently added 5 more from Meyers hatchery. So we have an even dozen - for now 
. Been reading these posts/forums all along for information, but this is the first time I’ve signed up. I have 3 children who all claim my chickens (and our 8 month old Aussie/Queensland little girl) are now my favorite children.
My mother and I have a home decor/gift shop as well. So between the human family, the animal family and running the shop - life is quite full.
