SkyhawkD, it is nice that you get the neighbor kids involved. I believe this is the easiest way to connect with them, the young folks, I mean. Whenever I get a new bird that I am raising I always show the neighbor kids that live behind me. They had never seen a Coturnix quail or held a baby duck. The look on their face was awesome...
 
There used to be a television show that came on when I was a kid that was all about hunting and fishing and the host would always end the show with" and remember, take a kid fishing". I don't remember the name of the show, maybe someone with a better memory than mine can help, but that is how I feel when I show the youngsters something they thought they knew...
