(1) Hi, everyone! My name is Brittany and I am new here.
(2) I grew up with chickens but it has been years since I had owned any of my own. We got our first Rooster and Hen for this flock in February of this year and it has grown since then. Most of our chickens and ducks we have purchased from family or from
Tractor supply.
(3)I have 31 chickens and 6 ducks.
(4)I have 9 White Leghorn Hens,
1 unknown breed laying hen, 7 Rhode Island Red Roosters, 1 Olive Egger Rooster, 1 Game Breed Rooster, 4 Isa Brown Hens, 3 Barred Rock hens and 1 Rooster, 2 Golden Seabrigh Bantams (1 hen 1 rooster) and 1 unknown bantam breed hen and 1 unknown bantam breed rooster.
Duck breeds: 3 Khaki Campbell hens and 1 drake and 1 possible Mallard Hen and 1 Cayuga Drake.
(5)I love raising chickens for their eggs and for meat. My 2 boys eat more eggs than anything.
(6) I’m a stay at home mom
With 2 boys. I grew up on a farm where my family had all kinds of animals ranging from
Chickens, rabbits to horses and cows. We are hoping to one day have our own farm. Currently we only have our chickens and ducks. We have 3 barn cats 1 pampered house cat and a dog.
(7) Bonus: I joined BYC because I found it on google search when looking for questions I had on my chickens and ducks. I have found most of my answered here so I decided to finally join.
