Just got my first 6 chicks yesterday. I’m looking to learn more to keep them happy and healthy.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
6 chicks now, but my kids are expecting to bring home 2 full grown leghorns from 4H.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Honestly don’t know.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Pets and eggs
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, dogs, ducks, art, photography and animal rescue
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 2 kids in 4H, and 4 dogs that were strays/rescues or adopted from a rescue.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
In my research about ducks and chickens it came up frequently, and then my Aunt recommended it also.
